Before working with IIO & P...

I have had extensive onshore and offshore oil and gas Asset, Subsurface, Surface, Commercial, and Contractual experience including Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Technology Development, Production Operations, Asset Management, and international country Operations.  I worked on domestic and international greenfield and brownfield developments including operated and non operated stage-gated processes for planning, conceptual, detailed design, construction, installation, hook-up and commissioning, and field operations:
  • Onshore experience includes conceptual, detailed design, construction, and field operations of gas plant, LPG, LNG, and shore base facilities;
  •  Offshore experience includes floating facilities including moored and dynamically positioned FPSOs/FSOs and FLNG vessels, deepwater TLP’s, Semi’s, SPARs, and subsea facilities as well as steel and concrete gravity based and piled fixed platforms;
  •  Evaluated gas monetization development opportunities for onshore LNG, offshore FLNG, and Nearshore LNG;
I helped supervise Subsurface Asset, Drilling/Completion, and Production Operations teams. I helped supervise Commercial, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, and Community Development/Community Relations teams.  I worked with Human Relations for hiring, training, and developing local staff in multiple countries.

I worked with national energy companies, energy ministries, and governmental regulators in the UK North Sea, Brazil, South Africa, West Africa (Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, and Ivory Coast), SE Asia (Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia), China, Australia, and the USA.

This experience was complemented by working with Woodside Energy on the Browse Field Development where we progressed technical and operational strategies and plans for remote deep water drilling & production facilities in Northwest Shelf Australia.  Woodside's prior experience with unmanned and not normally manned remote facilities was extremely valuable as IIO&P technologies and tools became more available and economic.  Following this experience I worked with Premier Oil on the Sea Lion Development where we progressed more advanced strategies and plans for remote deep water drilling & production facilities in the South Atlantic.  Planned tools and work processes including Digital Twins, high bandwidth satellite communications, and Cloud Data Platforms were increasingly available from key suppliers.  More recently I worked with NewAge on the Etinde Development for remote West African onshore and offshore development facilities.  Unmanned offshore wellhead platforms connected by subsea pipelines to an onshore gas processing plant needed to be safely configured for operations whilst providing remote technical team support to locally trained operations and maintenance teams.  The technologies, tools, and work processes available through IIO&P offered significant value to these assets.
